I've spent over a decade developing and producing factual programs, both in-house for the BBC and Red Bull as well as in a freelance capacity since 2021.

I specialise in action sports, urban culture and natural history with a wealth of experience developing, pitching and directing/producing shortform serialised content up to feature length docs. I'm a world traveller with a passion for unearthing and documenting interesting characters and thought-provoking stories.

I've always been fascinated with moving image and storytelling. After graduating from the University Of Bristol with a degree in Biological Sciences, I embarked on an overland adventure driving unaided from the UK to Mongolia. My friends and I documented the road trip and subsequently produced a feature indie documentary which we released on YouTube. With this experience setting up and managing a YouTube channel, I landed my first role in media in 2012 working as a YouTube channel manager, running one of the Google funded YouTube channels, where I honed my skills in video production as well as online community building and SEO. These skills led me to join the BBC's Digital Studios team a year later, as YouTube channel manager for Top Gear and BBC Earth. I worked for the BBC for 6 years, ultimately managing the suit of BBC Natural History & Factual Entertainment YouTube channel, supporting blue chip TX programs as well as producing original serialised content for YouTube and owned BBC websites.

In 2017 I was selected for the Edinburgh International TV Festival's 'Ones To Watch' program and was the winner of the channel 4 Random Acts live pitch, receiving funding to direct a short film which was broadcast in the UK in 2018. In 2018 I joined Red Bull Media House as a Senior Producer. My role spanned development and producing for Red Bull TV, social channels and 3rd party platforms, from shortform up to serialised longform. In 2021 I became a freelance producer/ director - specialising in factual projects across natural history/ action sports and youth culture.
