As a camera operator, self shooting film director/ producer and qualified drone pilot specialising in wildlife and adventure, my documentary films have featured in multiple film festivals such as Jackson Wild and Wildlife Conservation FF’s Ecoflix, winning several awards. My full time film role is shooting film producer and director for a rapidly growing presenter-led gardening YouTube channel Grow Veg, where my camera, editing and production skills have helped almost triple the channel’s following to  700,000 subscribers in just three years. I work in this role 4 days a week, leaving 3 days a week plus holiday allowance for other projects. I am open to diversifying my work and to collaborating with new organisations during this time.

Working on location regularly, I have experience of camera and technical equipment maintenance as well as extensive filming techniques such as long lens, macro, slow motion and time lapse. My role as director/producer also entails logging of rushes which must be kept meticulously organised. I thrive on working to deadlines, managing my own work load within a busy team. Pre-production, including production schedules, scripting, shooting scripts and film concepts are a matter of course in my role. Photography, graphic design also plays a part in my weekly tasks. I have a full clean driver's licence including a mini bus and trailer licence.I am a member of the Natural history Network and I amtrained in ALBERT sustainable film production.

Since my Masters degree in Wildlife Documentary Production with Wildlife Biology, Ecology and Behaviour (distinction), where I was trained by Countryfile’s former executive producer, I have produced videos for wildlife conservation charities such as WWF, The Wildlife Trusts, and The Seawatch Foundation/ Orca Watch. My high quality footage and camera operation skills are supported by my expedition leadership and logistics management experience for projects across Africa and Ecuador, including safari, Amazon rainforest and marine conservation projects. This also made use of my French and Spanish language skills. With my training as Dive Master, Mountain Leader, paddler, bush craft leader, caver, gorge leader and remote first aider, I have developed advantageous skills for filming in the field as well as the interpersonal skills to manage challenging situations in remote places while remaining cheerful, rational and calm.
