Hi, my name is Sofia and I have worked as an Assistant Director for 5 years. My credits include film and series for Netlix, Apple TV, BBC and ITV (a selected list of credits is listed on my CV). 

Recently, however, I have been looking to move towards development and in-house work. I am interested in getting involved in the way a project is shaped for the screen. 
I am looking to gain experience working in a production company and gain insight in the different phases a project goes through, from finding the story, to funding, to develop it for the chosen medium whether the TV or the big screen. I am equally interested in both factual and fiction, as ultimately it is all the different ways a story is told that interest me.

Finally, I am a very organised individual and I am very comfortable handling different tasks under preassure. As an AD, I have learned to multitask, think and prepare ahead and I have a comprehensive knowledge of filmmaking, from what goes onto prepping a shoot, to how to schedule and manage logistics, to the kit necessary.
