Liam became the Production Manager at Directors Cut Productions in 2015, a production company that I formed with my business partner in 2010.
He proved himself capable of calmly and efficiently taking on board any undertaking of whatever scale or difficulty. He is meticulously organised and his ability to manage budgets, schedules, technical and a myriad of other challenges is superb. His people skills are exceptional and he was a total pleasure to work with. He is widely admired and respected within the industry. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Liam Nolan. I am a former Executive Producer and Producer and worked with Liam for several years in his capacity as a Production Manager. I have always been impressed by his high degree of efficiency, and by his understanding of, and ability to deal with, whatever situation comes his way. His people skills are outstanding and he is always a pleasure to work with.
Liam Nolan is a highly capable Production Manager who is able to work across both the editorial and technical aspects of any production from pre-production right to final delivery for transmission, working effectively with a diverse range of producers and directors.
I have worked with Liam on the South Bank Sky Arts Awards over the years and he was always a joy to work with him. He is held in high regard by the Savoy Event Management team and all the various departments that make up an Awards show, from Editorial to Sky Management.
Liam’s inter-personal skills & computer skills are excellent and he is able to manage a complete IT system with remote access and server back- up systems. Liam will be an asset to any production that is lucky enough to employ him. The social aspect of the production will be enhanced by his employment.
I can highly recommend Liam and if you need further information please contact me using my details on Liams CV.
Yours sincerely
Peter Pearson
Liam is an excellent and very experienced Production Manager that I’ve had the pleasure of working with for several years. Incredibly hardworking and meticulous, Liam can manage all elements of a production effectively, whatever the schedule and budget – any project is safe in his hands. He’s a fantastic communicator and leads by example. Liam cares about staff and the production, and makes every effort to ensure people are happy and programmes are made with the highest production values. He’s fun to work with too! Liam would be an asset to any team.
I have worked with Liam on 'The South Bank Show' and 'South Bank Sky Arts Awards' over the past 10 years. Liam is incredibly hard working, thorough, cool under pressure and great at problem solving. Whenever presented with a problem of any kind, he calmly works to find a solution that works to everyones advantage, and always with a positive attitude. He gets stuck in with all areas of production, no matter how big or small. Liam has set up all manner of shoots for me, including complicated shoots abroad, and is always meticulously organised and thorough, and always happy to go the extra mile. In addition to this, he is great with people and always kind, approachable and fun.
