I am an award-winning Shooting PD who has worked across a diverse range of genres, including history, true crime, current affairs, and environmental films. I specialise in observational documentaries, blending engaging unfolding narratives with high-end cinematography to create visually stunning and emotionally impactful films.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience filming in challenging locations such as prisons and courtrooms while working closely with vulnerable contributors. I have recently directed five episodes of A&E's "Accused: Guilty or Innocent" and three episodes of "After the Verdict," capturing compelling stories in high-stress environments.

An essential aspect of my craft is the ability to skillfully use light to enhance the visuals while maintaining an authentic look. To achieve this, I use my own cinema camera rig complete with audio, lighting setup, and prime lenses, not only in my documentaries but also in my commercial work as a Director and DOP.

I have filmed across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, providing me with valuable experience, working in diverse cultural contexts. My journalistic background has afforded me excellent editorial instincts and a deep sense of duty of care toward contributors. I am highly technical and nimble in the field, meaning I am able to react to the story in real-time.
