I am an RTS Award Winning Producer/ Director and Edit Producer who has made short and long form documentaries, current affairs, fact ent and specialist factual programmes for all the major broadcasters. I have more than twenty years experience at Senior Producer level and above - directing crews, self shooting and leading teams at home and abroad. I have the maturity, sensitivity and emotional intelligence to deal with both difficult talent and vulnerable contributors. I love being in the edit and am adept at spotting actuality, building sequences, scripting and story telling whilst running more than one edit at once. As a qualified journalist I am well versed in dealing with compliance and legal issues and in shaping and structuring documentaries.  I left the BBC in December 2021 after regularly standing in as Series Editor - commissioning and exec producing films, dealing with editorial and legal problems and edit producing the current affairs series Inside Out. I am now freelancing and enjoying the flexibility and variety this affords.
