After graduating with a BA Honours in Theatre Design & Technology, Caron worked as a professional stage manager and production manager before becoming one of the first theatre production creatives to bridge physical and virtual worlds in 2007 as virtual stage manager for Pilot Theatre in Second Life.
Known as PCMcreative from the inception of social media, in 2023 Caron founded and serves as Artistic Director of PCM Immersive Staging Company. She facilitates "22 Ideas Page to Stage," developing the stories from Cybersalon Press’s speculative future fiction book of short stories 22 Ideas About The Future as financing producer and lead dramaturg with writers and immersive performance collaborators. She also created the "Cyberia Experience,” showcasing at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival a live and screening on-demand virtual fringe venue add-on for physical festivals, providing artist support, continuity studio as well as a hybrid audience programme.
Caron is an Associate Artist with the University of Nottingham's Virtual Production Studio having previously worked with their LEADD:NG programme collaborating with Mixed Reality Lab PHD academic Juan Martinez Avila on the data intelligence architecture and interface design exploring geo data and sensory capture for an NFT provocation using audience data as art.
