I am a student of the master’s programme in Film Studies and Television and Radio Studies at Palacký University in Olomouc interested in science and with a passion for documentary film. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Film Studies and studying directing and screenwriting at Tomas Bata University, I spent a year working in a practical film production at FAMU. The short films, which I supervised as production manager, were screened in competition selections at festivals throughout Europe I consider myself a passionate, optimistic and fast-learning person who accepts various challenges in the Czech Republic and abroad. For example, when I was on my Erasmus in Italy, I became the assistant to the venue manager of the Il Cinema Ritrovato, the biggest European film festival dedicated to the history of cinema. I find it important to emphasize turbulent state of nature, society and technology through film and television medium and the production of a science and social and environment focused documentary therefore fascinates me. I believe that thanks to my experience with festival production, student and short film production and curating the festival and cinema programs, I can contribute to the production of stories and documentaries that depict the world around us and look for specific stylistic, formal and narrative techniques.
