In 2006, after moving to Washington, DC from Maine, she began a circuit around the capital’s vibrant production scene earning credits on over forty documentaries for the History Channel, National Geographic Television, Biography, Planet Green, Investigation Discovery, and others. Since 2016 Sarah has devoted herself to Katz Tale, LLC. At Katz Tale she serves as a contract producer with the Foreign Press Center, Bureau of Global Affairs, Department of State. She also writes, produces, and researches a Women in Economics web series at Marginal Revolution University. Sarah thrives at translating complex topics into engaging and easily understandable media for large audiences.Sarah is a member of the New Media Council of the Producers Guild of America and a former Docs In Progress board member. She received a Master of Fine Art in Film from American University in 2009. During that time the Maine Community Foundation awarded her the Guy P. Gannett Journalism Scholarship. Her documentary Moosehead’s Wicked Good Plan screened from Maine to Florida and won the Maine Outdoor Film Festival Conservation Award.
