Dawn of Impressionism, Paris 1874 a feature length documentary, told predominantly with original quotes from diaries, letters, journals and accounts from 1874. MY NATIONAL GALLERY, London featured interviews with among others, Michael Palin, Claudia Winkleman and Jacqueline Wilson. 2023 saw the release of two of my films; KLIMT & THE KISS and also MARY CASSATT - PAINTING THE MODERN WOMAN. I particularly loved the location filming with a local crew on FRIDA KAHLO. All films are released in the UK and internationally.
I've worked in factual entertainment too, and presenter-led format shows for Channel 4 and Channel 5 and previously as researcher on specialist factual series for Discovery and A&E.
I also write a lot of factual content mostly about travel, local food producers, recipes and people. I'm a magazine columnist, I've written three (published) travel and food books and have credits in The Guardian, Sunday Telegraph, travel websites. I also write scripts for commerical and corporate projects. Twenty Five years of working in television as a developer, producer, and director across subjects such as art history, sweets, property, sex and business. I'm never short of a topic to write about. I'm looking for mid-term contracts, with an element of remote working especially as edit producer or writer/director. I'm based in the South West of England with access to both Bristol and Bath.
