I recently graduated from the University of South Wales with a First Class Honours degree in journalism. At university I have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of media-driven projects such as completing work experience for Sky News. These placements have allowed me to see the standards and values that are required to work within the industry. I have also adapted to a new way of reporting in COVID-19 restrictions and have been recognised for this by the BJTC, as students from the University of South Wales won Best Virtual Newsday at the BJTC awards 2020.
