For the past 5 years I have worked intermittently as a freelance script reader for a literary scout in TV & film, writing reader reports on fiction (and occasionally non-fiction) manuscripts and assessing their suitability for screen adaptation.In 2019 I dived into the world of production, gaining a place on ScreenSkills' coveted Trainee Finder scheme and consequently securing trainee placements in the art department on C4's Adult Material and the BBC's third series of Killing Eve. I have also worked variously as an Art Department Assistant on BBC4's Martin's Close, a researcher within the art department on Netflix's upcoming Anatomy of a Scandal, and a set dresser on various promo.I am currently seeking more reading work for drama and comedy production companies, as I am keen to widen my reading repertoire and potentially uncover the next big thing to hit the big or small screen.
