I have had a good relationship with my clients, I always try to create something better than they were expecting from the rushes given. I will quickly grasp the point of the story and understand who the audience will be, I am used to working both without much direction and with really close input from clients, I can use initiative to create visually interesting sequences that will tell the story through the pictures. I’m good at music, dialogue editing and writing some script, I will keep projects organised, achieve high standards of work and ensure QC is met and delivery to spec. I worked as a Supervising editor of Trans World Sport (a weekly 50 minute magazine format show) between 2004 and 2019. I edited over 400 programmes; cutting features, grading, sound mixing, stitching, supervising other editors, edit assistants and the ingesting and exporting of media. I have mostly worked using Avid, from its earliest versions to the latest and I have also completed jobs using Lightworks, FCP, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, and originally trained as a 16mm assistant film editor.
