Hi, my name is Therese, I am 26 years old and I am originally from Northern Ireland but have been residing in Scotland for the past 6 years. My dream is to sustain a career in the media and I have had a number of excellent opportunities so far in this area through my passion, hard work and determination to work within the industry. In 2011 I was one of the lucky 65/3500 candidates to attend a four day TV and Media festival called The Network which enabled me to attend master classes, workshops and networking events with TV professionals and celebrities. Through the contacts that I made at this event I went on to conduct work placement at the BBC, ITV and Endemol. I have also Volunteered on Community Radio as a presenter. I am a creative and well organised individual with fresh ideas and a genuine enthusiasm for media and would like any opportunity to gain new skills and put the skills which I have already achieved into practise in a fast paced media environment.
