I have lived abroad for eighteen months in South Korea, there I taught English, and experienced a weird and wonderful culture, completely different from my own. This experience prompted me to write a blog about some of the funny things that happened whilst I was there. wordpress/naomiashcroft.com The experiences I have gained from working abroad have helped me better understand people. I worked with children from the age of 3, to adults much older than myself. I get along well with almost anyone I meet, even in difficult situations I will make an effort to diffuse any arguments and find solutions. I feel this experience helps me in locations as a big part of the role is communication, with a largely diverse group of people. Read Less
