I have directed feature films, short films, plays of all lengths from Shakespeare to Chekhov. As an educator I have led workshops and youth theatre as well as one to one learning. I am an actors director, forged in the rehearsal room and I have worked from backstage to crew on all levels of productions from the wings of theatres to focus puller to DoP and Editor.My most recent work includes a new feature film shot in October 2020, "Rough Sleeper" that premiered at the Abbey Theatre, St Albans along with a remotely filmed hybrid production of "King Lear", "SkyBridge", a new original radio drama and "Juice" a short film I wrote and directed about a rough sleeper during lockdown.I had two films play at Cannes 2013, "Aamir the Brave" and "Charlie", my other film work includes "Call Centre: Open", a 2002 short film backed by the National Lottery. I have directed corporate work for Goodwood Road and Racing, Toyota, Specialist Risk Insurance, IBM, Portsmouth Football Club, the NHS, National Trust and more.On stage, previously I have directed Jez Butterworths "Jerusalem", my own adaptation of Chekhov's "The Sneeze". I am an experienced Shakespeare director having directed "The Tempest", "Richard II", "Othello", "the Merchant of Venice", "Romeo & Juliet". I have written and directed three pantomimes, "Aladdin", "Cinderella" and A Batman pantomime that I wrote/directed "The Dark Knight Before Christmas".My radio work includes multiple short fantasy stories when I directed the inaugural season of Bunbury Banter's radio drama, broadcast in the UK and US. I have directed 60 min one offs, "Freddie goes to France" and Skybridge.
