I have an MSc in Biology (110/110 with honour), an MA in Wildlife Documentary Production (Distinction) and I completed an internship as a researcher and assistant producer at DocLab, a production company based in Rome. As part of my internship, I also worked in Kenya as an assistant director and camera operator, making a short film broadcasted on Italian television.I have knowledge about all areas of the industry, including camera, lighting, sound recording, editing, grading, scheduling, risk assessments, producing/directing and scriptwriting. I have excellent 4K camera skills and a good knowledge of long lens, time-lapse, high speed and macro techniques. I shot with Sony FS7 II, Canon C200, Panasonic Lumix GH5 and Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and I have worked in productions made with Sony Venice cinema camera and Sony FX9 camera. I am also proficient in using editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Davinci Resolve 16, Avid Media Composer, ProTools, Adobe Photoshop. I have a driving licence, a certification for scuba diving and I am getting a drone pilot licence. Having worked in varied locations across the globe, I speak multiple languages: Italian, English and Portuguese. My passion for nature and commitment to wildlife filmmaking allowed me to achieve some significant goals:- For my Master's degree in Wildlife Documentary Production, I carried out three individual projects. My final film, Capuchin Culture, about a group of capuchin monkeys living in the semi-arid forest of the northeast of Brazil, was awarded at international film festivals, including being a winner at the International Nature Film Festival Gödöllő, the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival, Ireland Wildlife Film Festival, a special mention at the Nature inFocus Film Awards and a finalist at the International Wildlife Film Festival.- I was a finalist at the Royal Society Publishing Photography Competition 2015 and my photographs were published in international scientific magazines and journals.- I have collaborated with universities and international research centres, collecting data and documenting animal behaviour with photographs and videos that were presented at conferences, exhibitions and broadcasted on Italian television channels (Rai 1 in prime time and Canale 5). I am also co-author of two scientific articles on capuchins' behaviour. My experience in the wild allowed me to learn to face difficult situations and adapt to harsh environments. I have a good ability of problem-solving, an inclination to think outside the box and maintain strong relations with people.I am willing to settle in Bristol and spend long periods on location at short notice.
