Eoghan McDonaugh
PD (Self Shooting)
About Me
My strengths are in actuality, developing ideas, documentary storytelling, directing crews, self-shooting and editing.
Eoghan was brave enough to join me as cameraman on my 7000-mile fossil fuel free documentary adventure from the UK to Chile in 2019. His dedication and determination to ensure coverage of the action was always complete and his intelligent and intuitive understanding of complex story were most impressive. He quickly mastered the range of cameras employed in lean and mean self-shooting documentary production from filmic short depth of focus photography on the Sony A7s, to versatile creatively placed Go Pros to epic aerials on the Mavic drone. Eoghan is one the most professional people I’ve ever met, maintaining his cool, calm composure regardless of risky conditions, stress and exhaustion. Finally, his personable approach works wonders with contributors and he’s an absolute joy to work with.
