I am a highly-experienced director who's also proficient at shooting and writing ... and pretty reasonable at editing. My experience spans broadcast, high-end corporate, training and commercials. I specialise in automotive, but really I am happy shooting anything! I am confident leading a crew but can also happily work solus as a PD and have a reasonable collection of kit to allow me to do so. In the past, I have worked all over the world directing too - both for broadcast and shooting corporates and commercials. Locations include the Far East, Africa, all over Europe and the US.I have experience of working with most current broadcast kit including decent cameras, cranes, jibs, gimbals and sliders. A lot of my work is corporate although I have worked on broadcast from time to time. I am aware of and understand how factual/reality shows are constructed and edited.In terms of work experience: I started off in BBC radio and then went to a couple of commercial radio stations before moving into TV commercial production, after a few years setting up a production company in Manchester. I then went back to the BBC as a freelance director for a couple of years. I have also been a director of branding agency in London and taught broadcast practice and theory up to degree level - including 3D production.Currently I am a freelance and mainly work on corporates although in 2022 I co-wrote, directed and shot a 12-part web series for Practical Classics sponsored by Amazon.
