A Manchester-based creative making factual content across multiple mediums. I was selected to take part in the Screen Skills funded Mission Accomplished Development Researcher Training; I was trained in developing programmes for terrestrial and multi-platform broadcasting, pitching, and shooting and editing sizzle reels. I was previously selected to take part in the Screen Skills & Media Trust Emerging Talent Mentoring Programme, in which I was mentored by a factual television Series Producer and documentary Lecturer; I was trained in writing proposals and pitch decks.I co-founded an independent theatre company and took multiple roles while producing several pieces of work. Upon graduating university in Drama and Screen Studies, my company’s work earned me the Meera Syal Prize for Outstanding Practical Work. I also produced and presented a men’s mental health podcast with Student Minds, funded by Comic Relief. An episode I produced was selected by Target Jobs to signpost graduates to. My varied experience demonstrates my passion for storytelling and understanding of the appropriate form to tell a story. Read Less
