Read MoreI’ve now been in my career in multi-media creation and operation for 4 years. I started off as a Sound Recordist and Mixer, freelancing on numerous professional short films when I graduated from university. One being nominated for 'Best Short Film' at Margate Film Festival. I was also a Content Creator for Quidditch UK, helping with revamping social media content and streaming/filming live games on Facebook and YouTube.
I then secured my first full time job in my Media career as a Digital Media Consultant at DNASTREAM. I produced, shot, wrote and edited hundreds of videos for a start up mental health e-Learning service. My role branched off with handling multi-content producing, while also handling social media content and was hard at work on producing a podcast.
Moving into television distribution, I joined Sky as a Media Coordinator working in Metadata, where I was responsible for visually putting together TV and Film with data ready to be aired. Some of my favourtie projects I’ve worked on include The 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup, The Queens Diamond Jubilee and The Kings Coronation.
Moving further into Sky, I worked as a QA Operator - The QA department is a critical emergency team that handle with post production fixes for TV and Film to air on linear and on demand platforms. The role demands a strong knowledge of Post Production to fix Dolby Atmos, subtitles and transcoding issues, and many other complications.
Now combining my post production ops knowledge and my knowledge in editoral, I'm now a Content Coordinator at Britbox. This role includes my operations skills, my metadata/editorial skills as well as my creative side; building rails, planning rails, being the go to for compliance, raising PO's and creatively planning content campaigns with the creative team.
