With over 25 years' experience, I am all about The Story. I have written, shot and cut countless hours of challenging subject matter into compelling storylines, whether it be Viking massacres, Gravitational Waves, or plague and pandemics. I'm also used to factoring in the demands of complex and expensive CG animations.Since Lockdown, I have delivered four series, all produced, shot and cut in varying forms of remote working, including directing international shoots.As a Producer I have been working with blue-chip talent and civilians across a range of genres since the 90's, so I know how to manage teams and budgets (large and small) to get the most bang for the buck. As a director I'm as happy directing multi-camera crews as I am self-shooting on FS7ii, C300, and any new camera coming. Also all the toys: gimbals, helicopters, drones, fixed rigs, and 360. I have self-shot in difficult environments ranging from remote desert to the North Sea in winter. I'm Hostile Environment and First Aid trained.In the edit suite I'm a strong writer with a nose for quickly finding the right tone on new productions.
