I am an experienced producer and DoP, shooting both on land and underwater, and have specialized in wildlife documentary filming and remote location shoots around the world for over 20 years, from my base in New Zealand. I am versatile, physically fit, friendly and easy to work with, and have vast experience working in a broad range of climactic conditions from Africa to the Arctic. I am a skilled storyteller, writer, and DoP with a background in bio-science, a passion for wildlife, wild places and interesting characters, and a knack for drawing people out! I am creative but practical, enjoy the challenges of production and arranging filming and travel logistics to remote areas, I love researching stories, and am equally at home on land and underwater - having more than 2800 hrs underwater/ 3000+ filming dives worldwide in diverse underwater environments, from tropical to cold-temperate habitats.
