Hello! 

My name's Ethan, I'm a Film & TV freelancer with over nine years experiene working across a multitude of genres and formats. 

Since completing an MA in Screenwriting in 2017 I moved into reality/entertainment TV, working on a variety of shows such as I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, Hell's Kitchen USA and Love Island Australia. 

I eventually moved into editorial and soaps, where I was selected for the inagural cohort of Flip the Script, a script editing traineeship in association with Sky Studios & SharpFutures. From there I joined the story team that brought Waterloo Road back on to screens in 2023, and followed this up with a stint on Emmerdale as a Junior Storyliner. 

Development is where a lot of my passion for storytelling lies, I've had internships with Warp Films & 42MP and have read scripts for Rocliffe's BAFTA New Writing Competitions as well as The Uncertain Kingdom's short and feature film funds. 

Currently, I'm working as a freelance film producer, with four projects in development. My debut short Squeaky Bum, is currently on it's festival run, and won an award for Best UK Film at Day Job Film Festival.  Read Less
