Hi, I'm Ebony, a dedicated Production Coordinator in BBC Education with a passion for creating captivating content for children's education. Currently, I'm part of the dynamic team in BBC Public Services, where I've been instrumental in pioneering our first live digital events for Tiny Happy People.
One of my proudest moments was serving as the Gallery PA for a special episode of 'Blue Peter,' where I honed my skills in a high-pressure environment and ensured seamless production. My enthusiasm for being a reliable team player even led me to take on the role of a 'Buzzy Bee' on CBeebies, where adaptability and a can-do attitude are a must.
Now, I'm excited to take the next step in my career by delving into the diverse world of BBC Studios. I'm eager to expand my horizons and gain experience across different genres, as I work toward transitioning into Junior Production Management roles within the BBC Studios Kids and Family division.
I bring with me a proven track record of dedication, adaptability, and a deep passion for children's content. I want to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to continue delivering top-notch productions for BBC Studios and its young audience.
I have vast experience in dealing with contributors and on screen talent and crew. You will see from my CV I
have demonstrable experience of coordinating complex and multi-faceted logistics across the UK with the
multiple campaigns I have worked on. I have strong organisational and planning skills as you will see from
my years of operation management managing a team of 22 staff and at the BBC and in previous roles I have
managed conflicting demands to meet deadlines – including setting up an entire music department as well
as being a care giver and still having the day to day management of curriculum teams to do.
I have had experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with Service Providers such as local
authorities, Access Bookings and other key suppliers – this is evident from my role as PC on Tiny Happy
People and Parents Tool Kit where I set up London location based shoots and campaigns across
Birmingham, Bradford Belfast and may more places. Being the PC on Policy and Engagement has led to
awareness of health and safety best practice on location where there are other productions taking place at
the same time so wide H & S risk to manage.
Finally I have understanding and experience of systems including MyBusiness, Smartbook, Silvermouse and
Albert which I have demonstrated in my role as PC PMA on all of the BBC projects mentioned on my CV plus
Production secretary work on a crewed 150 staff scripted film where we had to apply for child licensing for
our child actors.
