Christian Heschl is an award-winning Film & TV composer located with his studio near Vienna. To date, he has composed music for numerous international networks including National Geographic, NBC/SyFy, Discovery Channel, SonyUK, ARTE, ARD, SWR, WDR, SRF and many more. As well as contributing additional music for other respected composers in in the industry. He is known for his work on the highly acclaimed NBC/SyFy documentary "Todd McFarlane - Like Hell I Won't" about comic artist legend Todd McFarlane (SPAWN, SPIDER-MAN, VENOM,...) and the German award winning docu-drama "Unknown Heroes of World War 2" on ARD/SWR depicting the last weeks of WW2 in South-West Germany. For his works Christian won several awards for "Best Original Score" at the Los Angeles Film Awards, LA Short Awards, New York Film Awards and at the CineFest LA - for his work on nature documentaries "Frozen Warriors" and "Okavango" directed by Sony Ambassador & NatGeo filmer Chris Schmid.Beside scoring to the motion picture, Christian is also writing music for various production music companies as a freelance composer including Hans Zimmer's Emmy nominated Bleeding Fingers Custom Music Shop / Extreme Music, Atom Music and various others.Since 2019 he's working on the film-music concerts by Sandra Tomek’s TOMEK PRODUCTIONS (World of Hans Zimmer) as a co-curator and “creative brain” creating programmes & concepts for international concert tours like Two Steps From Hell LIVE or Hollywood in Vienna featuring Oscar-winning composers like Gabriel Yared, Alan Menken, Hans Zimmer, James Newton-Howard and many more.
