I am a producer/director specialising in programmes with a science angle. I have a PhD in neuroscience and over 16 years experience in TV. I’ve made films on a range of subjects from a Panorama about climate change, to Cats v Dogs for BBC 2, to the collapse of Ancient Egypt for PBS, to the origins of the solar system for Discovery. I have experience of directing both presenters and expert contributors, and have edit produced almost everything I have directed. I have a great deal of experience organising complex shoots all over the world ranging from filming on active volcanoes in the south pacific, to filming a scientific expedition travelling across the US with an airship.
