Trainee broadcaster, studying a BJTC accredited MA in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Sheffield. Available for work immediately.After hosting my own show on UCL's student radio, I started presenting for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital with Radio Lollipop. As part of this role I produced a 12 hour special 'Dare-athon' from various locations across London, which was broadcast live at GOSH and Evelina Hospital. I also joined the podcast team, creating additional content for the patients.I worked as an activity host at Kidzania London, which allowed me opportunities to work within various journalistic and broadcasting environments. I taught children how work as a journalist, news reporter and a radio DJ in mock newsroom and studio environments, sponsored by Metro, Global and Al Jazeera.Last year, I covered an election count for Sky News, setting up a livestream of the evening and inputting results into a mobile app. I also posted social media updates and content throughout the evening.Alongside my degree, I now report and edit for Sheffield Talking News, recording news and sourcing additional local output to distribute to the blind community.
