He is known in the entertainment sector as an innovative content creator with the ability to produce award-winning shows that sell around the world, such as the multi-award winning Banzai (Bafta, RTS, Broadcast and BBC Indie awards) and Wild Things (Broadcast award and Rose D’or)In between Mad Monk productions GM freelances as an EP, SP, Format Consultant and writer. Most recently he has worked for STV, Primal, MTV, Insight TV, Outdoor TV, Mediapro, Reddit, Banijay, S4C, Youngest Media and Kimmelot/ Wheelhouse. Content-wise the projects have ranged from Studio Light Entertainment to Features to digital shorts to action reality to factual entertainment. In the last year he has worked with an array of talent from new Youtube stars like Nat's What I Reckon and Lazy Generation (semi-finalists in Americas Got Talent) to established TV stars like Rylan and Phil WangBefore setting up his own indie, GM worked as a writer and on-screen sidekick for Chris Evans before going on to Produce and Series Produce for the BBC, Granada and Planet 24, working on a variety of shows including the groundbreaking “Big Breakfast”, controversial live entertainment show “The Word” and the BBC 2 live comedy entertainment format “The Sunday Show” that featured Dennis Pennis and Peter Kay.
