Having grown up in a family obsessed with all things sport, I am in no doubt my passion lies in a career in sports journalism and broadcasting with the ultimate ambition of becoming a sports presenter. Following on-field sporting successes at school and University, I turned my attention to the world of media securing work with CTV, Sky Sports and BBC Sport on a variety of productions. I also presented my own sports show on University radio. I pride myself on being enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic, and an ability to work under pressure. I am self-motivated and also a strong team player and willing to learn and adapt on the spot. In 2019 I completed my NCTJ News and sports diplomas and 60wpm shorthand at Press Association and am working towards 100wpm to gain the Gold Standard. I reported for the ICC at the Cricket World Cup semifinal and final after my work was chosen as the winner from a large number of competition applicants.
