Award-winning documentary producer/director, senior producer and journalist with fourteen years of experience working in current affairs for global organisations. I was part of the initial team that set up The Economist’s documentary film unit. As well as The Economist I have worked at VICE, Al Jazeera English, The BBC and Channel 4. I have a proven track record of delivering high quality print and broadcast journalism. I have lived and worked across the Middle East and Africa. I have been commended for script writing, investigative journalism, documentary development, building relationships with contributors and working in challenging locations.I also write for the print and online editions of The Economist and other publications such as The New Humanist.
