I am a young Egyptian filmmaker currently trying to carve my way into the media industry in the UK. Having trained in the world of documentary and advertising back in Egypt, I chose to specialize with an MA in cinematography at Napier screen academy. I am trying to build on what I have learned during my years of creative work in the middle east, and what I gained during the past few years working and shooting in several European countries. I worked as a freelance cinematographer, camera assistant, gaffer and grip for several productions, mainly short films, TV series, documentaries, digital advertising and music videos. In addition to getting commissioned by channels like Al Jazeera and DW for producing short documentaries. I trained and worked on high end - industry standard equipment and modern digital workflows with highly professional crews, developing a good eye for details and an aptitude for the narrative.
