A natural born story teller, Daisy has always been intrigued by people and the events in their lives that make them the ‘way they are’. She studied creative writing, theatre and film whilst at school, the subjects remaining a constant in her education. She co-developed several short play’s over the span of her schooling, as well as during acting courses with National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Australia. These experiences taught her early that not everyone knows how to tell a story and that she was interested in sharing stories with others. Honing her writing skills and raw abilities has been her main priority since moving to the UK in 2018, she’s done this by connecting with other comedy writers in the industry, they have been important in helping her grow her writing style and finding her voice. Taking a brief break from writing, Daisy was a children's science entertainer and went by the name DNA Daisy, this experience made her realise that, children say the darnedest things and that DNA Daisy needed to hang up her lab coat and write down all the juicy material. Daisy’s return to writing was ignited by the death of her grandfather, when she very literally had to google, ‘what to do, someone die?’. Her writing has been enriched by exploring the humour of, a life had and a life lost.
