Surprisingly, I considered it more than just a funny game: somehow, I found myself taking it very seriously, and putting all my effort in it in order to make my character “credible” and “real”.
At 9 years old, I auditioned with my sister for the stage adaptation of Robert Wise's “The sound of music” in Milan. Incredibly, I was chosen to play one of the seven Von Trapp children. This artistic experience as an actress – which lasted three years - was so far the biggest adventure I’ve ever lived, and it turned me on to Arts, Cinema and Theatre, as well as foreign languages… which I learned by memorizing whole film monologues!
My passion for multicultural realities eventually brought me to London (Birkbeck, University of London) and Paris (Université Paris Nanterre) to complete my studies, and now I consider them my second homes. During my exchange in France, I took part to a practical workshop where I learned multiple tasks of filmmaking.
In Paris I also started my internship as assistant in a post-production company, where I discovered the magic of sound and video editing: I am learning how to use editing tools, and I have already been involved in the realization of film trailers. I still have a lot to learn, but I am ready to put all my effort in order to get to work in this continuously changing environment which never loses its power!
My Master Degree and my personal passion gave me a solid knowledge within the cinematic field, a knowledge that I nourish by reading, writing reviews for my university’s web page and attending Film Festivals (Berlinale 2018, Bari International Film Festival 2019, Venice 2019).I consider myself to be expansive, confident, determined, and curious, and in my previous work experience I've always been told of being an enthusiast, autonomous hard worker who can properly organize commitments according to priorities, especially when being involved in team works.
Film Industry has always been my strongest passion, and I hope – one day – to turn this passion into my job!
