My name is Joan Lluís Oliver, I am 22 years old and I come from Mallorca. Last June I finished my BA in Journalism in the Autonomous University of Barcelona and now I have come to London to make the most of the opportunities that the city can give me. As a journalist, I have been developing my predilection for audiovisual media, especially for documentary film-making. From January to June 2012 I did an internship in Barcelona Televisió (BTV), the local public television of Barcelona, in which I gained a lot of experience in the use of camera, audiovisual language, journalism work, video edition, etc. and boosted my passion for visual journalism. Now I am about to start a part time documentary film-making short course here in London. In addition, I am very interested in economy, political science, sociology and history, since they help me for a better understanding of the world and the different changing processes that it is experimenting.
