I am a Bristol-based freelance researcher looking to advance my skills in creative development for TV and film, with the goal of becoming a Development Producer. I have always had a passion and curiosity for the world around me. Ever since I was young, I found factual TV and film a perfect medium for changing people’s perspectives and satiating my interest in practically everything, especially topics far removed from my own experiences.To sum up I am all about exploration, collaboration and story-telling from a place of curiosity and thoughtfulness!I have a particular passion for factual based TV and Film, my favourite documentaries of all time:- Carts of Darkness (Murray Silpie - 2008) - D.B. Cooper: Where Are you? (Netflix - 2022) - The Last Dance (Netflix 2020) - Locked Up RAW (Rasha Drachkovitch(MSNBC) - 2005 - 2017) - Everybody in the Place (Jeremy Deller - 2019) - HyperNormalisation (Adam Curtiss - 2016)I am currently producing and developing a documentary I'm making myself with a rapidly expanding team, it is currently in the R&D phase and will shortly begin filming. The documentary is a heartwarming observational celebrating a particularly iconic area and culture at a crossroads in Bristol that also naturally touches on difficult topics affecting the area to tell a much-needed story.
