Matthew Witchell
Rights & Clearances Specialist & Archive Producer
About Me
I have high praise for Matthew Witchell who was our archive researcher and producer for History Channel's MonsterQuest.
MonsterQuest ran for four seasons and, after having problems with researching and licensing a variety of footage and images in our first season, Matthew stepped into the breach brilliantly. On numerous occasions Matthew saved the day, often under high pressure and and a tight cable TV edit schedule.
Matthew bought with him a wealth of experience from many years of sourcing hard to find material. He has an amazing tenacity when it comes to tracking down the best and most suitable footage, often obtained from from the rarest corners of the globe.
A skilled negotiated, Matthew has both a vast array of contacts with corporate stock and image houses and an ability to clear footage from even some of the most stubborn rights owners.
I was also amazed with Matthew Witchell's people skills. His good grace, easy manner and phone skills complimented well his resourcefulness in researching a variety of subjects.
I'd heartily recommend and happily work again with Matthew Witchell should the need arise. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
