Having graduated with an MA in Film and Television: Research and Production from the University of Birmingham in 2018, I have been working in an office role for a production company in Digbeth while also looking for entry-level work in the film and television industry.In my spare time, I also enjoy working on independent projects - primarily writing and music production - which led to my being commissioned to work on a radio drama for BBC Arts and Arts Council England's New Creatives programme, which was broadcast in December 2019.As part of my MA studies, I was able to gain experience and training with a variety of sound, lighting, and camera equipment; and directed a 25-minute documentary examining the work and influences of some of my favourite Birmingham-based musicians. I also undertook a 12-week internship placement with Birmingham-based company Creative Media - for whom I worked as a runner on various corporate video shoots.Through my work - both professionally and independently - I have developed a diverse set of skills, a self-motivated work ethic, and an attitude of enthusiasm and curiosity that I think could make me a valuable part of any project that I am chosen to work on.
