Ellie is a rare gem of a factual producer. Her natural journalistic ability means that she scopes out a story with ease and has gained us access to extremely difficult contributors / organisations on a variety of projects. On top of that, she absolutely excels at writing treatments – hooky openers, detailed episode beats and the series narratives she crafts out of her research and access have blown us away. It’s been a pleasure to work with Ellie and as a result of the projects she’s steered, we’ve had huge interest from UK broadcasters and international streamers across a range of shows – from true crime, to obs doc, presenter-led investigations and even reality.

Ellie is a strong, editorially minded pitch writer, and a brilliant PD. She is emotionally invested in the wellbeing of her contributors and staying true to their story, which brings out the best in them in filmed interviews. Post shoot she also produced a powerful sync pulled edit script with drama scenes. Her hard work resulted in her episode being up there as one of my favourites of the series. Ellie would be an asset to any production, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.
