Having worked for a year in entertainment marketing I am interested in expanding my knowledge and experience of the film and television industry. I am an organised, enthusiastic, diligent, and hardworking individual and am looking for positions that will continue to develop my career and deepen my understanding surrounding the making of films and television series and the marketing of them to an audience. What interests me most about producing, particularly for film and television, is the combination of its exploration and development of new work, talent and projects, alongside the business management and distribution side, and getting projects out to an audience to receive and maintain their interest in the work. Investing in and seeing a project through from start to finish, both from a creative and business perspective, is of most interest to me and how I would like to continue to develop my skillset and experienceAs you can see from my CV, I currently have experience in: Marketing/ Social Media Marketing - From my time at Zero Degrees West I have had the opportunity to manage and ideate marketing campaigns to develop an understanding of what is needed to attract and speak to an audience for a variety of film and television genres. My current role specifically has focussed on copywriting, audience research and analysis, presenting ideas for social campaigns and website and social media management. Some titles I have worked on include: Minions 2, Birds of Prey, Morbius and various Netflix Originals in a variety of different languages. Administrative and office runner skills - In my first 6 months at Zero Degrees West I was an office assistant, shadowing and assisting the production and creative teams. This gave me the experience in office management, event planning and also assisting and doing ad hoc jobs for different departments, including raising POs and invoicing. On-shoot and production skills - whilst training in production I got to the opportunity to manage a shoot for a campaign with NHS Professionals. It was my job to write and release the call sheet, liaise with the crew, organise travel and the plan for the day, assisting as a runner on the shoot and overseeing the content shot.I have also, in my own time, developed the below skills to help aid not only my understanding of the industry but to also begin to develop and evolve my business management skills.Completion of the film distribution course on Open University LinkedIn learning courses in ideation, brainstorming and strategic and creative marketing. Bookkeeping, financial accounting course on Open University. Completion of Microsoft excel course up to an advanced level on Udemy Completion of basic Premiere Pro skills - LinkedIn Learning.
