I am an experienced series producer, compliance producer and edit producer with a background in factual and observational documentaries.  

I have spent a lot of my TV career working on location in the UK and abroad with big institutions such as the MOD, Police Forces, Hospitals, the Ambulance Service and luxury hotels. It is in these environments that I have learnt to negotiate access, maintain relationships, manage a team and always be a step ahead.

I most recently series produced on the second series of Top Guns for Channel 4 filming with the RAF. Prior to this I was working on 24 Hours in A&E where I gallery PD’d on the rig, edit produced two epsiodes and I was SP across the edit overseeing multiple episodes taking them through to final post.

My other Series Producer credits include working on a brand new series for Channel 4 filming in luxury hotels in India, managing a team on location across mutliple hotels in India working with a high profile hotel group. Geordie Hospital (Channel 4) and multiple series of Ambulance (BBC One).

As a series producer my responsibilities have included, managing a casting team and keeping across editorial and legals/compliance. Negotiating access and maintaining key relationships with partners inside and outside large institutions as well as being involved in the scheduling of edits. I have also edit produced my own episodes on most series I’ve worked on.

I have a sound editorial mind when it comes to filming actuality and producing content/interviews. I know what is needed to create a scene and tell a story. I am confident in finding and casting contributors and finding good characters for a variety of programmes and can easily adapt myself from serious and sensitive casting to more humorous light hearted. I have a significant amount of experience working with vulnerable contributors in sensitive environments as well as gaining access to large institutions and emergency services.

My academic background provides me with a good eye for a story and a solid journalistic approach to a variety of subjects as well as thorough research skills.
