I am Cardiff-based Edit Assistant with experience in Avid Media Composer, as well as other post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. I also have motion graphics skills using Adobe After Effects. My current broadcast experience mainly includes factual entertainment, but I am open and actively desire to get a wide variety of experience when it comes to genre. As an Edit Assistant, skills include ingesting of media, syncing rushes into a syncmap and then into multicam sequences (manually, with jam sync as well as audio timecode), making sync pulls to assist editors with content selection. Other media management-related skills include ability to consolidate sequences into seperate drives (and restore them back into Avid), as well as backing up data on LTO tapes using FastCopy. I also have experience in archive researching using tools such as the BBC Digital Archive or Jupiter Web, and keeping track of archive usage by upkeeping an Archive Log. Skills I am currently interested in learning include: - Basic VFX workflow on Avid - Online workflow - More advanced data wrangling
