I'm graduated from Universidad Tecnológica Americana in Translation and Interpretation major. For the last 12 years, I’ve been working for SDI Media. I started working as a Translator and Editor with very positive resultd. I learned to handle CCS, LAS CC files, and L.A. translation, and Tech QC projects. I took and passed the QC test for L.A. and soon, when BBC Latin America was acquired as a client, I was asked to QC most of the shows before delivery to the client. I’ve been performing this task for almost 13 years.I’ve been in charge of recruitment and evaluation of potential translators for L.A. and Mexico’s office. I developed a translation test for the special requirements in Mexico’s office. This test has shown a very successful result since we could make valuable in-house and freelance hirings. Also, I’ve helped on multiple occasions to get new contractors for translation and transcription, even for a very large LAS-BP project.
