It all started when I began my TV studies back in Lisbon. That course led me to work in the Portuguese film industry as a production assistant. However, since I was young, I was not sure of which career I should pursue, so I packed my stuff and travelled around the world for a couple of years. I visited 25 countries and had as many professional experiences as possible in different fields, from being a Portuguese teacher in Mozambique to living and working with a Moroccan family in a Surf camp. In the end, I improved my communication skills, my capacity to adapt, and, most importantly, I have decided to continue my career in the entertainment industry.I then moved to London and started my degree in Film Directing. However, with the same motivation to explore new cultures, I was part of an academic exchange program in Madrid, where I have studied Law and Marketing applied to film. Following that, I returned to London and finished my degree with the best grade I could aspire: First-Class Honours.I won the Best Director award at the University CEU San Pablo in Madrid with my short film 'Like' and my work was also nominated for the Best Short film award at the MDX Awards in 2017. I have recently written and directed the short-film 'Yard Kings'. Read Less
