I am a hard working, dedicated fully rounded Broadcast Engineer. I enjoy working in challenging environments and being under pressure. I am very focused and a quick learner, meaning I can pick up new skills and techniques easily. I have a passion for broadcast engineering and I’m keen to progress within the field. I am able to engineer the design, build and operation of most modern video and audio standards. But starting from the production, studio based or outside broadcast, I have experience managing the signal from the moment audio is picked up by a mic or video is captured by a camera right through to transmission of the finished product. This is inclusive of traditional terrestrial methods, right through to OTT streaming platforms, with a good knowledge of VOD delivery alongside this. Alongside this I have proven experience working within large national projects using modern project management tools such as Confluence and Jira, and have recently adapted quite well with working as the workflow lead, managing all 3rd parties from proof of concept through to testing and delivery. Extra to the purely engineering aspect of modern broadcasting I have a keen interest in modern camera rigs, audio design, grip, lighting and post production techniques and have continued to produce my own side projects during my career.
