Currently, I'm finishing an MA in Broadcast Journalism at Cardiff University and I've graduated from the University of South Wales with a 1:1 Ba Hons in Media, Culture and Journalism. I have industry experience working for BBC Wales, Sky News, Cardiff and Bristol TV, Radio Frampton, Hay Academy, Bristol Live, SWNS, Buzz Magazine and more. I am particularly interested in arts and entertainment and whilst training as a journalist I have reported at events such as the Welsh BAFTAS, Cardiff International Film Festival and more. I have experience in the events industry too, as a part-time coordinator for Grapevine Events based in Cardiff. I'm also a keen podcaster, having started a successful podcast with some of my colleagues named Journos in Lockdown where so far we've interviewed Chris Mason, Felicity Evans, Steffan Powell, Fergus Walsh, Amani Ibrahimi and many more.
My skills include TV and radio studio operation, broadcast production, reporting, 100 WPM shorthand, pitching, news gathering, Media law, communication and organisation, data, digital trends and MOJO.
I am an innovative, friendly and hard-working individual who loves chatting to people and understands what makes a good story or feature. I am actively looking for work in the broadcast industry and am available to start straight away. You can find me on:
