Jamie is a brilliant composer and sound designer. I have worked with him, as director and producer, on many audio dramas for Big Finish Productions. He has a fantastic sense of drama, his sound design really painting a picture in the listeners' minds. His music is breathtakingly good. He is at home with highly energetic, bombastic music and beautifully moving, emotional scores... and everything in between! He is also very good as all kinds of different styles of music. His knowledge of different styles and instruments is extremely impressive. He is more than capable of working with a live orchestra and vocals, but such is his skill at using musical samples realistically, you would be genuinely hard-pressed to tell whether he is using acoustic instruments or digital samples. Another of his skills is his outstanding ability to create strong, catchy and inspiring theme tunes for programmes of all styles
