I'm a freelance editor and colourist with a varied background in documentary & fiction productions, promotional material and archives. Experienced in Avid, After Effects and Davinci Resolve, I am creative, versatile and committed to impactful storytelling. I am a graduate of Edinburgh College of Art's Film Directing (Documentary) Masters, where I honed my skills in post-production. I also recently completed a traineeship with NLS's Moving Image Archive, where I developed knowledge of and skills in the long-term preservation of film material, restoration and digitisation. Recent projects include 'Our Fathers' Sea', aired on BBC Alba in March 2020 and winner of a BBC Film G Award, and a Creative Scotland-funded short drama which is currently in production. I have filmed and edited event/promotional material for Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Student Arts Festival, the SQA and Ricefield Arts, as well as live bands. Read Less
