I’m a cameraperson, editor, drone operator and director-producer with 10+ years of experience making content for digital, broadcast, and feature documentaries across different genres. Based in Machynlleth, Wales, but working nationally and internationally.
Wide experience working on a range of productions including live broadcast, TV ads, documentaries, promo content, short narrative, corporate, charity, sports, music videos and outdoor adventure films. I’ve gained a breadth of knowledge concerning camera operating and support, as well as strong working knowledge of postproduction workflows including editing and motion graphics. I also have a lot of experience in sourcing contributors, writing schedules, treatments and shot lists, and dealing with preproduction and planning. I have received professional training from the National Film and Television School on a four month course in Camera Assisting, Focus Pulling & Camerawork, and also graduated from the Docnomads International Film School with a Masters in Documentary Film Directing. My personal projects have screened at numerous international film festivals and have won awards. I run my own kit incl. Sony FS5, Samyang Cine Primes, Crane 3S Pro Gimbal, wireless video transmission and remote follow focus systems, and Aputure lights, along with a Macbook Pro & Adobe Suite.
