I am a very experienced SP and Series Editor, having SP’d on obs doc and Fact ent series for the likes of Channel4, Channel5, BBC1, Discovery and even CBeebies, constantly since June 2012.

I’ve worked in and am confident in every part of the process of programme making, from initial development through to final delivery.

I am used to managing big productions with 30+ staff that usually entail me overseeing multiple edits (5, 6 at a time) simultaneously, while also running several shoot teams as well.  

Above all else, I am excellent in the edit, giving my edits detailed, clear notes. I write well, harvesting rushes to produce nuanced, emotional and humorous programmes with lots of takehome.

After years of self shooting (from 2003 until 2012) I am fey with the actual process of capturing the right content.

I am always asked back to the companies I have worked for (even if due to scheduling, sometimes it doesn’t work out). 

Finally, although I am from a working class background (I used to sell my free school meals ticket to my school friends in exchange for money for the ice cream van), I managed to get an education up to MSc level with merit pass from SOAS. Read Less
